Terms & Conditions

Right of entry is reserved.

 

Each Event Pass grants you a single, non-transferable right to attend the Rooting For Tubers festival (the “Festival”) on the date of the Festival. Your Event Pass is not redeemable for cash. There will be no replacements for Event Passes that are lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged and you unconditionally accept the risk of damage to, loss of and/or theft of your Event Pass.

 

You must submit your Event Pass for validation upon entry into the Festival.

 

Your Event Pass is intended for you only. In no instance shall you share your Event Pass with any person(s) attending or attempting to attend the Festival. If you are discovered to be sharing your Event Pass with another person(s), the organisers of the Festival reserve the right, in their sole discretion, not to grant you access to the Festival or eject you from the Festival.

 

Counterfeit Event Passes will not be honoured by the organisers and your purchase of such an Event Pass(es) is not binding on the organisers whatsoever.

 

The Event Pass does not include any food, beverages, and/ or other purchases that you make at the Festival.

 

Please note that while your Event Pass entitles you to access all workshops and talks (“Workshops") at the Festival, these are limited-capacity events, for which seating will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis on the day of the Festival. We advise you to arrive well in advance to ensure a spot at the Workshop. The organisers will not entertain any refunds arising from your failure to find a spot at/ attend any Workshop.

 

The food served at the Festival contains indigenous ingredients that have been time-tested over generations and are generally safe to consume. However, we are unable to provide allergen information on specific produce at the time of purchasing the Event Pass. By purchasing the Event Pass, you agree to accept this risk. No liability or claims that may arise due to the consumption or intake of any food or drink will be entertained by the organisers. 

 

The organisers are not responsible for any injury or damage that may occur during the Festival. 

 

Security procedures, including frisking, remain the right of the organisers. No dangerous or potentially hazardous objects including but not limited to weapons, knives, guns, fireworks etc, are allowed at the Festival and may be ejected with or without the owner from the venue.

 

As much as we would like, pets are not allowed at the venue.

 

The organisers disclaim all responsibility for losses or damages to vehicles parked at or near the venue of the Festival. The organisers are not responsible for losses or damage to any vehicle towed from the Festival site.

Privacy

Personally identifiable information will be collected at the time of purchase of the Event Pass. This information will be maintained in the organiser database but will not be shared with any third party.

 

By attending the Festival, you understand, agree and acknowledge that (i) You may be photographed and filmed, and (ii) You further understand and agree that these images and/or recordings can be used by the organisers for archival, and/ or promotional purposes.

 

Shipping Policy

Event Passes are being sold only through authorised online sales channels.

 

Cancellation & Refund

All Event Pass sales are final. Once purchased, the Event Pass cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded.

 

The organisers will not entertain any refunds arising from your failure to find a spot at/ attend any Workshop.

 

‍If the Festival is cancelled in whole, or in part, due to a Force Majeure Event, you will not be entitled to a refund.  A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean an act of God, the act of terrorism, earthquake, wildfire, flood, tsunami, strike or other labour condition or dispute, an order or injunction of any court or administrative body or any other act of public authority, severe weather threatening the safety of Event attendees or similar contingency or unexpected event, and any such occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the organisers.
